For many international couples, getting legally married in France involves specific residency requirements, including residing in France for at least 30 consecutive days. As most of our couples live outside France, they often choose to have their legal civil ceremony in their home country and celebrate their wedding in France with a symbolic ceremony. We’re happy to guide you through the options depending on your situation.

We typically recommend starting to plan your celebration 12–18 months before your wedding, as this gives us plenty of time to plan everything thoughtfully and secure your preferred venue and suppliers. That said, whether you’re keen to get an early start or are planning closer to the big day, we can adapt the planning timeline to suit your needs.
